You should stay out of the cold to cook or bake like I did. Yesterday I whipped together my signature chocolate pecan pie which turned out pretty well although a certain house/roommate thought I overcooked it a little until she tasted it. It’s a pretty simple recipe with 1/2 cup of just about everything. Start with 4 eggs beaten like a rented mule then at 1/2 cup of each of the following: semi-sweet choc chips, dark corn syrup & granulated sugar. Add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract and 1.5 cups of pecans. Pour into a 9″ pie crust and bake for 50 minutes or 45 minutes if you have a Viking oven. Let it cool for about another 45 minutes and then enjoy.
